The Authority adopted its first Comprehensive Transportation Plan in 1995. The 2000 Update represents the first major update to it.

| The Authority has begun the process of preparing the
2004 Update to the
CCTP. This update will not only result in a new transportation plan. As part of the update, the Authority will develop a proposed Expenditure Plan, including a refined Growth Management Program, for the reauthorization of Measure C. (The original measure will sunset in 2008, 20 years after its approval by the voters of Contra Costa County.) We hope to put the proposed reauthorization on the ballot in November 2004. |
