addition to the Countywide
Comprehensive Transportation Plan,
the Authority is involved in a
variety of other plans and studies.
These studies fulfill the
requirement in Measure C for the
Authority to “conduct
transportation and growth management
studies.” These studies have
included a study of ramp metering in
Central, East and Southwest Contra
Costa and the East-Central
Traffic Management Study. Future
studies could include a study
congestion management strategies for
the I-680 corridor.
Currently, the Authority
is working on and the State
Route 4 Transit Study. |
