2. MAJOR DISCUSSION ITEMS

2.1 Presentation: Nate Gilbertson, MTC, will give a presentation regarding the Trans-Link (Smart Card). ( Attachment- Information )

2.2 Action Plan Status Report. The Regional Transportation Planning Committees have released or will soon release their Draft Action Plans for Routes of Regional Sig-nificance for circulation and comment. The Action Plans set performance objectives for freeways and major arterials in Contra Costa, and are required under Measure J as part of the Growth Management Program. Staff will present a status report to the CAC on the five Action Plans that are underway, outlining emerging policy issues. (Attachment – Information)

2.3 Local Transportation Issues. CAC members will provide a brief overview of the local transportation issues in their jurisdictions. (Discussion)
