Rail
The Authority recognizes the importance of rail service to the residents of Contra Costa County to help reduce congestion on its highway system and improve air quality. By providing financial support to both Capitol Corridor operations and stations and BART in Contra Costa County, the Authority helps to facilitate modern, accessible rail services to its residents.
